A Case of Leiomyosarcoma of the Kidney

Abstract

|
Renal cancer constitutes about 2.2 to 3.0 per cent of all malignant tumor. Approximately 3 per cent of these neoplasms are sarcomas, and the number of leiomyosarcoma is small Leiomyosarcoma, originating from smooth muscle cells, are the most
common
variety, composing about 60 per cent of the total incidence of sarcomas. The first pathologically documented case was reported in 1919.
Herein, we reported a case of leionyosarcoma of the kidney with review of the literatures.
